We have nothing but praise for Dalecote Barn B&B, hosted by the wonderful Richard and Vicky. From the start, communication was excellent, and they were incredibly thoughtful in providing all the details we needed ahead of our stay. Our ensuite room with a private patio was beautifully set up—comfortable, cozy, and perfectly equipped to help us unwind after a long day of hiking. Everything was spotless, and we really appreciated the generous supply of tea, coffee, and snacks in the room. The packed lunch prepared for our day out was a fantastic touch, and the cooked breakfast was absolutely generous and delicious. Every part of our stay felt warm, welcoming, and exceptionally well cared for. Many thanks! Highly recommend - we’d love to return!

From start to finish, our visit was nothing short of exceptional. The communication with the owner, Richard, was outstanding, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. The room exceeded our expectations, even better than the photos suggested. With ample spotlights and a thoughtfully designed bathroom featuring an impressive light-up mirror, it surpassed what many larger hotels often overlook. The little fridge was a delightful bonus, providing more than enough space for a couple of wine bottles. Breakfast was impeccable, delivered right on time to our room. It was a high-quality, delicious meal that set us up perfectly for a long day ahead—definitely a highlight of our stay! Richard's extensive knowledge of local attractions and his willingness to help with advice made our experience even better. The view of Ingleborough Peak from the barn was breathtaking. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

One of the best place i have ever stayed. The view is out of this world and it is so peaceful. I stayed for one night on my return from a Scotland tour on my motorbike. Richard is a fantastic host and really looks after you. The breakfast was brilliant and the scrambled eggs were to die for. A selection of tea making and breakfast cereals were available in the room with fresh milk and a bottle of orange juice. I will return again.

Absolutely beautiful location and done to a very high standard. Richard is a lovely host and very helpful. The breakfast is lovely and delivered to your room by him. This was our second visit and definitely be visiting again. Richard is in the process of building a hut and will be done to the high standard the barn is, so we'll be booking that when completed. Lots of things to do from Ingleton caves and the walking trail for Ingleton falls, great place for walking and the whole area is picturesque. Highly recommend the Wheatsheaf in the village for food.

Only had one night. Lovely clean room. The shower was very powerful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, not greasy at all, so hats off for that. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the TV, which was a little too small for my eyes, but at least there was one. 100% if we are in the area, we'd stop again.
